Prepare for change, whether you like it or not.

The Tower

The tarot card of the day is the The Tower.

A tall tower stands on top of a mountain. You can see lightning striking the Tower's tip if you look closely.

Two people can be seen leaping out of the Tower's windows, with their arms stretched and their heads first. The people are trying to escape from the building without even thinking about the outcome after the jump. The card displays an image of chaos.

From the look of the Tower, you can see the Tower has a solid structure. Although the Tower has a strong structure, it has a bad and shaky foundation. When the lightning strikes the Tower, it brings it down.

The Tower represents how one tries to achieve goals based on false pretenses.

22 flames from the lightning strike, representing the 10 points of the Tree of Life and the 12 signs of the zodiac. This signifies that when disaster strikes, there is always divine intervention coming into play.

The Tower is a metaphor for life's chaos and devastation. Change can be scary and unavoidable. You may not be aware if you will be able to survive because this change will be one of the most challenging things to go through as a person. Although this change is unavoidable, it should be a suitable warning. It is telling you that you are somehow trying to build something with a false foundation of beliefs. Hence, whatever you are trying to achieve is unrealistic.

The Tower may also indicate that you are taking risky steps toward the future. If you are fond of putting yourself in bad situations, you have to start being mindful of everything you do. For example, if you like to gamble a lot with money, take this as a warning to start being responsible with your money.

Which Direction Is the Best

The Tower represents sudden change, upheaval, destruction, and chaos. Yet, in many ways, it symbolizes a great awakening, a revelation of what is truly important in life. Sometimes you may be forced into making significant changes because your life may be out of balance.

You're lost and unsure of how to move forward because you don't know where to turn next. The Tower is a reminder that there is always something happening in the world, whether you are aware of it or not.

Your emotions may be heightened, and you experience anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, frustration, and confusion. You are forced to face your inner demons and deal with them directly.

The Tower can indicate a significant shift in direction, a dramatic turning point in your life. Losing your partner, home, job, being hit with unforeseen medical needs or even a close friend is possible. Although, for instance, you have a secure job now, start preparing for the worst.

Without preparation, you may start relying on loans when you are fired. These are almost never a good idea under normal circumstances. If you have no job, it will be difficult to even get payday loans, so you have to be vigilant.

Suppose you are facing a major illness, accident, or injury. In that case, the Tower also indicates that you must take action immediately to protect yourself, you don’t want to be stumped with bills for medical needs. You may be suddenly thrust into a situation that seems completely beyond your control.

Brace Yourself

The Tower warns you to have to brace yourself because you are about to go through a painful process. This process may be challenging to deal with at first, but it will lead to a fresh start. However, before you can turn this situation into a positive thing, you have to understand the problem instead of living in denial.

For instance, you might not be safe at your workplace. You may think you are going to stay there for a long time, but you may lose your job, may be considered redundant, or even have an accident and have high medical needs. If you do your job correctly, losing your job may lead to a better career path.

Start preparing for the worst-case scenario. When you prepare correctly, you may not even feel the impact of the incoming problem.
