Your lust for life has gotten you extremely far–probably further than your wildest dreams would have deemed possible. You have reached an unprecedented level of success that many only see in their imagination. Of course, you’ve earned this, and as a result, you’re confident about your abilities. And you should be! The internal and external work you’ve put in is nothing short of admirable. People are beginning to notice everything you bring to the table.
You are embracing your inner King of Wands; of all the Kings in the tarot deck, the King of Wands is known for his confidence and passionate energy. However, unlike the other court cards who came before him in the suit, the lizards that were once on his clothing are now sitting behind him, almost as if he has forgotten where he came from.
You are elevating to new levels of success. There are things you have yet to accomplish, despite being at King status already. These new heights will question a lot of things about you, including your moral standing.
Remember, you came from humble beginnings; you were once a Page who’s creative ideas were all they had to keep themselves going. Now that you’re a King, it’s difficult to imagine yourself in the position of the Page you used to be. Still, that youthful, excited energy is still within you, and you shouldn’t ignore it!
You’re at your best when you can be loyal to those around you. The Wands in tarot represent fiery energy (which is why the lizard follows the court cards). While fiery energy is passionate and forward-thinking…it can burn you, too!
An opportunity will arise that is meant to test you. You can choose to lead with your head, which can occasionally become overruled by your ego. Or, you can lead with your heart, which tries to keep you humble as you skyrocket to success. The choice is always yours to make, though!
Your confidence and charm has been enough to give you the keys to your kingdom. Your people love you, and they trust you to guide them through any weather. However, as mentioned, your ego and fiery, lizard-like temper can take over in the heat of the moment. This causes you to withdraw your emotions, forgetting to give back to the people who helped you rise to the top in the first place.
Remember, you can be free while staying humble and confident at the same time. A sense of freedom is great, with most great leaders yearning for freedom as a part of their core values. However, freedom does not include ignoring the needs of others around you.
Being free, truly, means to follow what makes your heart sing. You can do that while opening your heart up to emotional vulnerability, as scary as it may seem at first!
The lizard that follows the Wands court cards loves to bask in the sunlight, soaking up its glow to feel refreshed and relaxed. Every great leader knows how to relax; you don’t have to be on “go mode” all the time to reach your goals. In fact, you’ll find that you’re better suited to fulfill your duties and achieve your dreams when you’re refreshed from some sun rays. Don’t forget the SPF!
Your ego is the only thing blocking you from everything you desire. You may think that being ultra-confident and maybe a little cocky is key to getting all the way to the top. Instead, embrace a sense of humility. Stay kind to everyone around you, and watch as you elevate even higher!
Ground yourself by meditating or taking a walk in nature to reconnect with yourself–you don’t need to completely shed old skin, as a lizard might, to feel anew.
