TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

Sunday, 06 July 2025

Your joy doesn’t come from credentials but from knowing that I’ve called and qualified you by My love.

My beloved child, in this world, you are often measured by your accomplishments—your titles, your job, your education. You’ve been taught that with the right degree, you can gain approval, secure a future, and earn respect. But I want you to hear Me clearly: My joy does not come through credentials. You don’t need a degree to be qualified for My love, to be filled with My peace, or to walk in the purpose I have designed uniquely for you.

There is nothing wrong with education. I delight in your growth and development. But I do not require a diploma to use you. I am not impressed by the letters after your name—I’m moved by the posture of your heart. If you trust Me, I can do more with your obedience than the world can do with a thousand degrees. The world honors achievement, but I honor surrender. The more you yield to Me, the more your life will overflow with joy that no system of man can provide.

What Heaven Honors

Do not let the enemy convince you that you are “less than” because you don’t have a certain degree. And if you do have one, do not let pride convince you that joy comes from achievement. I’ve called fishermen, shepherds, tax collectors, and young boys to do mighty things. Not because of their training—but because of their faith. And I have called you, too.

I see your effort. I see your diligence in the classroom or workplace. I’m proud of the way you persevere. But I want you to know this: you do not have to prove your worth to Me. You are already valuable, already chosen, already loved. Your happiness will never be found in a framed certificate. It will be found when you realize that I have written your name in My book—that you are Mine. When you walk in that truth, even the world’s loudest voices cannot drown out your joy.

Learning to Walk in Joy

If I lead you to pursue a degree, I will give you the strength, wisdom, and provision to see it through. But I will also teach you that the process is not the source of your identity. Do not place your joy in the outcome of a test, a grade, or an acceptance letter. Your joy must come from knowing that I am with you—every late night, every anxious thought, every small victory. I do not measure you by what you’ve achieved but by how much you trust Me.

And if you feel behind—like life passed you by while others advanced—I remind you now: I am never late. Your timeline is not broken. Your story is not over. My plans for you are not dependent on a degree. I will use your hands, your words, your kindness, your compassion—those are your qualifications in My Kingdom. Let that bring freedom to your heart. You are already equipped for joy.

Reflect on these words today

The joy of the Lord is your strength.

— Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)
