Yearn for justice as I do. While earthly laws may change, My love for the downtrodden is constant.

My Son, Jesus Christ, embodied true Christian justice. He offered himself entirely, paving the way for humanity to return to My embrace. Though the world has changed, the core of justice remains.

Jesus walked among the marginalized โ€“ the sick, the poor, the ostracized. He freely shared what He had, demonstrating My love through action. These needs persist today, though writ large across a vastly more complex world.

Modern Christians, surrounded by a richer tapestry of humanity than ever before, hold the very tools Jesus used: compassion, service, and a love that transcends differences.

Doing The Right Thing

The Christian way is the right way! Conducting yourself with Christian values and morals isnโ€™t always easy, but worth it in the long run. You may feel like a bit of a rebel by doing soโ€” and Jesus did, too! He was, maybe, the first rebel who ever walked the earth.

Your sacrifices for the greater good might not necessarily be as grand as Jesusโ€™. You probably will not need to lay your whole life out on the line to save humanity from sin. But you can take His lessons and wisdom with you always, giving you a keen sense of Judgment as you make daily choices.

Ideally, you can live with His values in mind in a more modern context. For example, you can help the poor by donating time, money, and resources. Or, you can simply lend a helping hand to someone in need.

Justice Reveals Itself

While true justice may unfold in ways unseen, it does not diminish the importance of your actions. Live by My values โ€“ love, compassion, and righteousness โ€“ and you become a conduit for justice in the world.

Though vindication may not always be immediate, your faithfulness paves the way for a more just world, both for yourself and others.

Reflect on these words today

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

— Isaiah 1:17

To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

— Proverbs 21:3
