Walk with Me and work with Me. Learn the unforced rhythms of My grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.

The Ferocious Lion

Lions are known to be the dreaded predator in the jungle. They are least afraid of anything and prey on any animals in the jungle. The world has many lions, preying on the unguarded heart, mind, and soul of people. But, fear not for I, the Lord your Savior, can make the ferocious lions sit still in My command.

Remember the story of one My greatest prophets named Daniel. He was obedient and faithful despite his exile. During his time, he was highly favored for My spirit was with him, making him one of the wisest officials.

Because of the favor he is getting from the king, people were jealous of him and want him out. They eventually succeeded in having him sent to the lion’s den. Not even the king can save him from danger.

But Daniel remained true to his faith. He was never shaken and he never feared for his life. He knows that his faith in Me, his consistent prayer, and worship can put him in real danger. You see, Daniel was in the position to manipulate the situation for he has the king in his hand. Nevertheless, he did not put things in his own hand. He prayed and has given thanks.

I have seen his faith and situation. So, I sent My angels for him when he was thrown to the lion’s den. I let them shut the ferocious lions’ mouths and protected him from real danger. Daniel was confident that his faith in Me will save him from the hungry lions.

Getting Out of the Dark Den

You may feel stuck and jaded in a dark den with lions waiting to devour you. Lions of anxiety or depression, lions of sickness, business failure, bankruptcy, relational gaps, and many more. I encourage you to be like Daniel, he did not let his circumstances affect his time with Me. He remained consistent with his prayer and worship.

When everything seems dark, hopeless, and helpless, remember that My light can pierce through it. I have the power to take you out of the dark den. I can tame and drive away the lions in your life.

Do not let your fear hinder you from coming into Me. The more you feel threatened, the more you should pray about it. Remember, I am the Lord, your Redeemer. I will never leave your side, just give Me your hand.

Never feel ashamed to ask for help in prayer. There is nobody else that can help you but Me. I can send people to unseal the gates of the den for you. Trust Me with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.

Rest assured that you will not be alone in your journey. My word will serve as the lamp to your feet, showing you every step out of the dark den. My grace will always be sufficient to sustain you.
